These Terms and Conditions apply to the Moms Making Mums website and all purchases made through our online store. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Custom Products
Moms Making Mums creates handcrafted, custom Homecoming Mums and Garters.
Each design is made specifically for the student using the information and selections submitted with the order. Because our products are handmade, slight variations in ribbon placement, colors, decorative pieces, trims, charms, prints, and other materials may occur.
No two designs are guaranteed to be exactly alike.
Customer Information
Customers are responsible for submitting complete and accurate information, including:
- Names and spelling
- School
- Grade
- Homecoming date
- School colors
- Activities and organizations
- Jersey numbers
- Product size
- Shipping address
- Pickup or delivery preference
Please review all information carefully before submitting the order.
Order Deadlines
Orders must generally be placed at least 10 days before the actual Homecoming date.
Published deadlines are subject to change based on demand and production capacity. We may stop accepting orders for a particular Homecoming date before the listed deadline if all available order spots have been filled.
Placing an order early is strongly recommended.
Order Acceptance
Submitting an inquiry, form, or message does not automatically reserve an order spot.
An order is considered accepted and reserved once:
- All required information has been received
- Payment requirements have been completed
- You have received confirmation from Moms Making Mums
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order that we cannot reasonably complete.
Rush Orders
Rush orders may be accepted depending on availability and the current production schedule.
Approved rush orders are subject to a $50 rush fee. Paying a rush fee does not change shipping-carrier delivery times or guarantee delivery when delays occur outside our control.
Please contact us before placing a rush order.
Changes to an Order
Minor changes may be considered when requested early enough.
Major changes cannot be accepted within ten days of the Homecoming date. Major changes may include:
- Changing from a Mum to a Garter or vice versa
- Changing the product size
- Changing primary colors
- Changing prints or major design elements
- Replacing significant personalization details
- Adding major upgrades after production has begun
Approved changes may require additional charges.
Production Schedule
Orders are completed according to Homecoming date and production needs, not necessarily in the order they were received.
For a Friday Homecoming, orders are typically ready by Tuesday of Homecoming week.
For a Thursday Homecoming, orders are typically ready by Monday of Homecoming week.
These are expected completion times, not guarantees against events outside our reasonable control.
Shipping
We ship within the United States using FedEx or another selected carrier.
Shipped orders are typically sent on the Monday of Homecoming week unless another arrangement has been confirmed.
Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. Moms Making Mums is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or additional costs caused by an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
Once a package is accepted by the carrier, carrier delays, weather delays, service interruptions, theft, or delivery issues may be outside our control. We will reasonably assist with available tracking information or carrier claims.
Local and School Pickup
Local pickup instructions will be provided when the order is complete.
When at least 10 orders are completed for the same school, we may arrange a coordinated school-area pickup at no additional charge. Pickup availability, location, date, and time are determined by Moms Making Mums.
Orders that are not picked up at the arranged time may require a separate pickup arrangement or shipping charge.
Pricing and Payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
Orders are not placed into production until the applicable payment requirements have been completed.
Customers are responsible for applicable shipping charges, taxes, rush fees, upgrades, and additional customization charges.
Promotions and Discounts
Promotions may be subject to:
- Eligibility requirements
- Expiration dates
- Product exclusions
- Minimum purchases
- Limited availability
- One discount per order
Discounts cannot generally be combined unless specifically stated.
Inspiration Photos
Customers may submit inspiration photos. These photos are used as general creative guidance.
We do not guarantee an exact copy of another maker’s work or a previously created design. Each order remains an original Moms Making Mums creation.
Product Care
Homecoming Mums and Garters contain ribbons, decorative pieces, adhesives, staples, charms, bells, lights, and other components.
Handle products carefully and keep them away from open flames, excessive moisture, pets, and small children. Decorative products are not toys.
Intellectual Property
Website content, product photographs, original designs, graphics, text, logos, and branding owned by Moms Making Mums may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.
Customers may share personal photographs of products they purchase.
Website Availability
We try to keep the website and store accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that the website will always operate without interruption or error.
We may update products, pricing, availability, policies, or website content at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Moms Making Mums will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses related to website use, shipping delays, missed events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except where the law does not allow such a limitation.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
